What Are Nightly Notes?
- They're the opposite of Morning Pages.
- So they're written at night instead of first thing in the morning.
- They are typed instead of handwritten,
- They're public instead of private,
- They're guided by questions instead of flowing freely
- A completed entry consists of six questions and six answers instead of three pages
- Since they are public others are allowed to comment on them
For an interesting variation on daily writing see 100 words.

It is 2:32 pm. I'll explain another day Fast Fiction Exercise:
Write a story about hair. Hair is the name of a very unlucky girl who lived in a place where looks matter to the point that they drove her mother crazy. so crazy that she name her daughter Hair. Now Hair did not have hair long like Rapunzal (sp?), nor was she bald like L.L. She had a nice healthy head of hair. but because her name was Hair people tended to notice hers and rate it unlike they would other hair that they came upon in the normal course of their day.
"I'd like it cut into a signature style," Hair said to her friend and stylist Shelia.
"Signature style?"
"Yes. Something that makes me think of me, Hair."
"Very funny."
They'd had this coversation before. And Shelia had been seriously thinking about what she could do to Hair's hair to make it into a signature style. They'd looked through hundreds, maybe thousands of photos and considered hundreds, if not thousands,
Hair's mother solved the issue. Natural. Leave it natural. Leave it be. Your hair knows more about being hair than either of you will ever know. Then End.
